Sage Honey Chicken

This recipe for Sage Honey Chicken is the perfect blend of savory and sweet, mingling flavorful sage honey with the tanginess of yellow mustard.  Pair it with a side of quinoa and asparagus or your favorite go-to sides, and you’ve got a recipe for success.  This simple, healthy meal is sure to bring you a round of applause – or possibly mouthfuls of contented silence.  How could it get any better than that?


  • Chicken breasts, 2 halves
  • Butter, 2 tablespoons
  • Salt, ½ teaspoon
  • Yellow Mustard, 1 tablespoon
  • Honey Pacifica Sage Honey, ½ cup


  1. Grease or foil a 9-in. square baking pan; place chicken breasts in it
  2. Bake the chicken uncovered at 325 degrees for 30 minutes
  3. In a small saucepan combine the remaining ingredients; cook and stir over low heat until well-blended and heated through
  4. Pour sauce over the chicken breasts (saving a small amount to baste the chicken before serving) and continue to bake the chicken uncovered for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked all the way through
  5. Baste chicken with the remaining sauce
  6. Serve with your favorite sides
